Mosaic Tsumami Zaiku
Tsumami means "pinch" and Zaiku means "fine craft." This type of fine work is used for hair accessories since Edo era (1600-) in Japan. Literally, CHIEKO made those each small pieces by pinching silk fabric, that she used for other bow ties, with her finger tips to make one new bow tie. Many colors were used, but the entire look still maintains the unity. She was an architect before, so her color palette is on point!
