Nishijin - Black Necklace and Broach Combo
This cool black tie is made from Nishijinori, a special Kinran fabric from Kyoto, Japan, which uses gold threads. Nishijin is a part of Kyoto and famous of producing traditional textile. The symbol on this tie is one of kamons. Kamons are the symbols of your family, blood, and hierarchy that are used up to this day. They put those symbols on Katana (sword), flags, kimono, etc. According to Wiki, there are 241 kinds of Kamon in Japan. This kamon is called Karahana (hana means flower). Originally, the pattern was imported from China (Kara era). It became popular fabric pattern in Japan and used as kamon later. This is double layered with light blue silk kimono fabric.
